Building History, Former Famous Residents:

Alison Morley recalls a fond brush with celebrity at an opening event for Civilization magazine. She had the opportunity to meet Lauren Bacall and asked her if she really had lived at 75 Bank Street. Lauren exclaimed, “Yes! It was just before I moved to Hollywood and met Bogey!...my mother and grandmother lived there also, and I remember there was a Dime-a-Dance place on the corner of Bleecker and Bank that I used to look out at and dream of what it looked like inside.”

Spectrum Cable + Internet Bulk Pricing:

Abingdon Court has a negotiated bulk rate for television cable service and internet, with speeds up to 400 mbps through Spectrum, all for under $60 (as of 12/2022). New sign ups are taken in the fall, and service begins in January of the following year.

If you are participating in the bulk plan and have any issues, or would like to add additional services like DVR or a land line, do not call the general Spectrum number -- contact Spectrum at 833-697-7328 and let them know you are participating in the building's plan.
